WHEN ALL HOPE IS LOST

I was in a crisis, nothing like I have ever felt before. I had lost my job. I was finding it very difficult to feed. Everyone I knew was getting fed up with my tragic stories. I know everybody have got their own problems, but I am not sure if theirs is like mine.

I used to be very influential; nothing goes by without by consent. But now I am only a shadow of what I used to be. Different people tried to lend me a helping hand so I can get back on my feet but they their efforts were fruitless. A particular brother came to me with a message from Christ. He said I should give Christ a chance.

Giving Christ a chance may just be all we need when the storm comes. The disciples knew the master was with them, at arm’s length away but they chose to take on the storm with their own might and knowledge.  When all their efforts brought forth no lasting solution, they called on Jesus, who ordered the storm to be calm.

God lets some things to happen beyond our control so we can become aware of how much we need Him to stare our boat. Giving Jesus the key to our heart is the solution to the troubles of life.
