DO YOU KNOW THE GOD YOU PRAY TO

Most of us don’t know the God we pray to or the extent of His power and might or His grace and sovereignty – We pray and ask Him for a little help, then we can carry on from there. We pray for forgiveness with an eye fixed on the magnitude of our sin, doubting if we can ever be free. We pray and ask for a “little” help because “big” might be difficult to get.

Many of our concerns are best addressed by reminding ourselves of who God is, what He has done in our lives and what He is capable of doing. By simply reminding ourselves of His word and His promises, we can find comfort in them.

Apostle Paul said that God is able to do more than we can imagine (Ephesians 3:20); and Jude also said that He is able to keep us from sin, and present us faultless (Jude 1:24).

How beautiful it is know that you have a Father that can do all things!
