DIFFICULTY LIVING FOR CHRIST: KNOWING WHO YOU ARE

I do not know why it is difficult for me to walk the path. I find myself struggling back and forth . . . trying to keep my faith in Christ – separated myself from friends and those I thought will be wrong for me, engage in a lot of church activities. But the more I try, the harder it gets for me to focus on Christ.

To live for Christ is to submit to Him. It is not our place to condemn or judge anything or anyone but to commit all to Him – to know His word, His will concerning any situation. At first it may seem difficult to submit our all to Him but constant prayers and meditation on His word will bring us closer to Him.

Living for Christ gives us a new identity that is very different from our old self. The Bible called us a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a chosen generation (2 peter 2:9). Our duty is to let God’s light shine through us by expressing the love He showed us.
