WHAT LEADS TO SIN AND DEATH

“Then when lust is conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.” (James 1:15).

According to the apostle, Sin which leads to death is brought about by lust; and sin is simply disobeying God’s command – the simple instructions that He has laid down for us.
Man as a spirit wants to please God – the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. The flesh is weak as a result of its desires. These desires when conceived causes man to err.

When the flesh is in control, it manifest itself via adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, jealousy, wrath, strife, sedition, heresies, contentions, murders, drunkenness, reveling etc. and they which do these things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

A man’s desire can be the difference between life and death.
