WHEN YOU ASK AND RECEIVE NOT

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not what I say?” – Luke 6:46

Many parents are often drawn to do more for the obedient child, granting almost any request they made. When a child questions his parent’s authority, that child is disrespectful and he’s mostly scolded or punished for his behavior.

God is our heavenly Father who lives forever. When He gives an instruction, He expects us to carry it out immediately and not later. But so often we question His authority and overlook His command, and only remember Him whenever we are in need.

Ignoring God’s instructions has consequences – many a time it leads to delay in the actualization of God’ plan for your life, or it could lead to a destiny cut-short as in the case of Samson.

Jesus said, “Whoever comes to me, hears my words and does them… is like a man which built an house and laid his foundation on a rock; when the flood comes, it would not be shaken.”

What is God asking you to do today? God's instructions are always accompanied with miracles.
