PERFECT PEACE

Peace is something that can’t be bought with money, neither with fame nor power. King Solomon, the richest man ever, pointed this out – vanity upon vanity, all is vanity.

When a poor man says, “Worldly possessions do not satisfy,” nobody tends to listen; but if a rich man comes out and say, “Money is not everything,” people will listen.

You cannot get the unquantifiable out of the quantifiable – Love, peace, trust, happiness, life etc. cannot be bought with something so little as money. The unquantifiable God is the source of all goodness.

Jesus came to offer us peace – A peace that’s very different from what the world gives (John 14:27); the peace to live during abundance and lack, the peace to enjoy both good and bad times.

Jesus came to usher peace into our lives and our world.
