SIMPLY A BIGGER GOD

A lot of us often magnify our problems simply because we want sympathy or compassion or reward… whatever the reason may be, we end up destroying the purpose of our ordeal. The victory given to us is clouded by our desire to find sympathy.

A magnified problem preaches to people about how little your God is; the same God that parted the waters for His people to walk on dry land. God didn't say there won't be troubles in this life. And that same God has guaranteed us that He will always be with us.

Instead of looking at the magnitude of your problem, look unto God - the creator of the heavens and the earth, lift up voice in worship of His name.

Whatever the situation may be, You have a bigger God – magnify Him.

WHY YOU SHOULD SHARE YOUR STORY

“The man went away and began to tell… how much Jesus had done for him” – Mark 5:20. Sometimes we don’t need a powerful sermon before we can tell people about God neither do we need to be eloquent; but we can tell people about Christ by simply sharing our story.

Jesus said, “Go home and tell the people how much the LORD has done for you, how He has had mercy on you” (Mark 5:19). No matter how difficult our lives used to be or how notorious we were, we can do what the man did; tell everyone what the LORD had done for us and how he rescued us from destruction.

There are people waiting to hear your story. There are people waiting to draw strength from your victory.

Whatever the LORD had done for you, share the story.

FOR GRANTED!

You go to work in the morning , came back tired, fixed yourself dinner and go to bed looking forward to the next day plus you don't even say a prayer because you're too tired. . . The next service you attend, you hear persons testify of God delivering them from one accident or sickness and you remember that God hasn't given you that car you've been praying for for a while now.

You don't see the miracle in waking up every morning , you're used to it and as such take the gift of life for granted.

You don't see the miracle in going to sleep every night or even during the day , you're used to closing your eyes and you're fast asleep. Forgetting people suffer from insomnia.

You don't see the miracle in having food to eat as you're used to always having food on your table forgetting people die of hunger and some have difficulty eating because of one ailment or the other .

You don't see the miracle in going to work and coming back safely. Going out and coming back without an accident or surviving one and losing one or two limbs, which is the greater miracle?

We've gotten used to some of these things and we forget to give thanks to He who made it possible . We take these things we see as "normal", for granted .

Next time you wake up , be grateful because He's forever faithful .
