WHY ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN

I was born into a Christian home, not really the devoted Christian family but we go to church on Sundays. That practice continued until the year 2016 when the Holy Spirit convicted me; I was lost and in pain – deeply troubled, worried . . . until Jesus gave me His peace. I followed Christ because I needed peace and the world couldn’t give me the peace I wanted.

At that time peace was all I wanted . . . but as I began to study the Word, I realized I could have so much more, God can do so much more. The cares of this world slowly crept into my heart. The reason why I followed Christ began to change from peace to financial breakthrough; and when this breakthrough wasn’t coming the way I wanted, I lost focus and then lost my peace.

There could be numerous reasons or just a single reason why you are a Christian, or why you chose to let go of your faith. Whatever the reason may be . . . remember this, “Seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, and every other thing shall be added unto you”.

Christians are God seekers.
